I never got a telegram.....Made a telegraph when I was a kid. It was a logical upgrade from two cans and a string. Would send senseless dots and dashes to my buddy but neither of us had a clue what they meant.

I never had an 8 track tape............ I did, and regretted it. CLUNK!   Switched to Cassette as soon as I possibly could.

I've had several 8 tracks.

Have caught a lot of squid while mackerel fishing.

Have eaten horse.

Have driven a horse buggy (well, pony and sulkie)

I did have a couple 8 track tapes, but mostly I had LPs, and then cassettes I recorded off the radio.

I've driven a horse-drawn buggy, well, really it was a wagon, not a buggy, but I think that still counts.

I've been to Spain a few times (80's and 90's).  I liked it.  The people were nice.  The food was expensive, though.  (That's where I ate squid, in the paella).  I've only driven thru Oklahoma on my way to somewhere else, and I'm not even sure I stopped for gas.  I'll have to go back and check it out at some point.  In a diesel pickup truck, because FU EVs.

I not only had 8 track tapes, but I had 4 track tapes before that.

I have never caught a Squid or an Octopus but I love eating Squid rings and have had Octopus Sushi.

I knowingly ate cat meat once but it was a cougar that my brother shot.

Never got a telegram, but in cleaning out the old files at the state I found a telegram from I believe 1943.  The sad part is the office was maybe 20 years old so it had been moved at least 2-3 times.

I never ate C-Rations, but I've shaved using a steel pot for a sink. I really hated when we transitioned to Kevlar helmets. They were hot, heavy and you lost the utility that a quickly-removable steel pot provided, for shaving, for picking up brass, etc.

When we turned in our steel pots for Kevlar, we just tossed them into a big shipping container. They were headed to some allied countries somewhere. Then we signed for Kevlar.

After signing for the new helmet a lot of us reached in the container and took out steel pots and threw them in our cars. Still have mine.
