I can't take ibuprofen. Last time I took it my blood pressure spiked to 195/95. Seems it cancels out my BP medicine.

In May an uninsured 19 year old skank rear-ended my Miata. My insurance company paid the entire bill out of my Uninsured Motorist coverage. I doubt they'll even try to recover anything from her.

Its really sad, because in the end we pay yet again for lazy shits.

Driving without insurance should be 1 year driver license revoked. 2nd offense its gone for 5 years and the vehicle gets confiscated, auctioned off, proceeds go to insurances companies, and they are forced to lower premiums for the district.

Tylenol is the devil.  An idiot doc put me on 5000mg a day for a year... without ever doing any bloodwork to check liver function.  Needless to say, I'm still here, he's not my doc any more, and I'll never take a Tylenol again.  

And NoSpa is the only good thing to ever come out of the USSR, but there's no point to taking it if you aren't a girl.

Uninsured Motorist is required in MN.  (probably because of all the "immigration".

Sorry about your pain, especially your back. Being 6'5" tall, my back has delivered some of the most excruciating pain in my life. 

JUst a word of advice, ICE FIRST!!! DO NOT PUT HEAT ON AN INJURED BACK! You'll be very sorry! This includes HOT SHOWERS!

Yes, Advil or Ibuprofen is it. 
As you probably know, Ibuprofen is an NSAID. Tylenol on the other hand is not.
Ibuprofen fights pain by reducing swelling. Tylenol stops the pain signals to the brain.

We have 1 LARGE bottle of generic "advil" in the medicine cabinet. We usually buy the Walmart brand gel caps. They are clear blue. Work fast too!

Just before I left for a 6 hour drive, I was doing something involving a cinder block and ended up smashing my finger tips with it. It felt like they were going to explode. I popped a 800 mg, ok maybe it was two 800s, and proceeded to lie in the floor waiting for my hand to fall off. I had nothing to eat all day and relief came in a short time. I felt relatively great. 

A little over halfway through the drive they wore off and I was miserable until I got back home.

Suspending or revoking drivers license does about as much good as snapping one’s fingers. One year, five years, lifetime - doesn’t matter. Confiscating vehicles would make some difference. After awhile no one would loan a vehicle to the miscreant nor sale them a vehicle other than 100% cash. Of course they could always steal one.

One of the kids had wisdom teeth out recently.

The doc proscribed a whole suite of meds:

Hydrocodone-Acetaminophen

Ibuprofen 800

Anti nausea meds

Antibiotics

Prescription mouth rinse 

(I advised to skip the opioid, but still wasn't thrilled about giving 800mg doses to someone weighing only ~125lbs.)

Seemed kinda over the top.  Admittedly, is has been a few years since mine came out, but I'm pretty sure they just told me to take some Tylenol and rinse with salt water.

When I had mine out in the early 90’s they gave me; mepergan (demerol and phenergan in one pill), chlorhexidine gluconate (antiseptic mouthwash). I still developed a dry socket. The mepergan was the most effective pain medication I’ve ever taken.

Had my wisdom teeth out in early '70's. They had to cut and beat them out and they did not give me the good stuff.

I hurt for 10 days.

I had only one pulled.  The x-ray showed the roots at a 90 degree angle, not straight into the jaw.

The  Dentist said he was going to refer me to a "specialist".  I asked him why he couldn't do it?  He said Wisdom teeth can be a problem with the crooked roots.

I told him I was willing if he would do it.  I got the shots and he put a little "finger clamp on the tooth and cranked the screws a little at a time.

Out it came and he showed me the tooth with the 4 right angle roots intact.  I asked him to see the "puller".  It clamped the tooth and had a tiny screw jack on each end, so he pulled the tooth while rotating it out.  worked like a dream.

I got a couple of Hydorcodines and that was it.

I had a front lower tooth chisled out the root broke off.  He set a mirror up so I could watch him cut and chisel it out.  No implant too little jaw bone, but it was fascinating to watch.

THANK you!!  Bout killed Grandma!  AND the "PM" is the worst too!  She took it for YEARS..un supervised.  Probably actually what killed her if truth be known.  "Liver KILLER".

Thank god, I don't need "pain Relief" much.  It's gotta be "Teeth grittin Bad" for me to need that..   When I do...It's just Advil...which is...Ibuprofen.  Bein as I never need pain relief...I'll drop 3 200 Mg...if I do need it...and we're good. Probably last time I did that was...least a year ago.,,Least.

I had a fuckin vasectomy in like...99.  they gave me a fuckin 10 mg pill  of Valium, and a shot of demerol. 

Was all Chilled out and ****, with she sheet pulled over the center thing, so I couldn't see,.. when the Dr. said "Oops".  I reached up, grabbed that center thingie, and said..."Excuse me??  I know what it means when I Say "Oops:...what do YOU mean??? Oops!!!"  I thought the Irish nurse was gonna explode she laughed so hard and turned so red.  Any way...Bein I was 6'4"...He miss Judged the cut in the wrong place, Had to make a second cut.
