Apparently the frames can't handle the load. Looking at additional pictures, it broke right next to a weld, so improper weld heat treatment, along with being a vertical weld with no reinforcement/stress relief. On the page I saw it, there is a lot of discussion about the frames being crap metal and too thin from the manufacturer, but welding on it certainly didn't help (I don't know if those are factory welds or related to the camper install) 2 2 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
