When it's a full "U" shape it doesn't seem like it would have much ability to flex and bow unlike the standard bow shaped springs. I just noticed that it's on cinder blocks lol. I suppose they're not installed. The front differential doesn't look like it accepts one, but the rear does. Somewhere under that platypus-like coachwork is the chassis and running gear of a Citroen 2CV. So in addition to its awkward appearance, it has no power and rides like a cart.
