it doesn't.  

Either that or it's the super secret electric motors hidden in there that get the power beamed to them.

 

I'm kind of wondering how those springs work.  When it's a full "U" shape it doesn't seem like it would have much ability to flex and bow unlike the standard bow shaped springs.  Since you know, as they compress they flatten out and stretch.

I just noticed that it's on cinder blocks lol.

I suppose they're not installed. The front differential doesn't look like it accepts one, but the rear does.

This is what happens when you let French people design cars. Somewhere under that platypus-like coachwork is the chassis and running gear of a Citroen 2CV. So in addition to its awkward appearance, it has no power and rides like a cart. It has a top speed of 120km/h and probably feels like it is flying apart at half that speed.

Probably does pretty good in reverse.
