You’re at work?!?

are you maintaining social distancing? Washing your hands?

You must be essential

.

I'm at work too.  Also essential.

In all of this a lot of people forget that there are quite a few people still dragging their asses to work every day.

We have 1 person at our other terminal who has tested positive

they have pulled 6 others and quarantined them due to being exposed

the companies big decision was......who gets sick pay?

the exposed guys aren’t sick, so their attendance will be counted against them. They should have followed the company guidelines and not been exposed.

that’s who I work for

.

This is Charle “Reds” Musselman being ejected from his car during a race at Langhorn, in 1957. He suffered no broken bones and only minor injuries. His shoes were later found in the wreckage of his car. He believed that being ejected probably saved his life. The car broke in two, as it rolled.

Well.  I, for one am certainly feeling much better about this proclaimed world wide calamity, now that I have been able to listen to him play Banjo music.

Now if only some celebrity would sing I would lose all my concern and anxiety completely.

Or not!

My take was that he was trying to put out something positive, in the midst of a shitstorm of negative. Your mileage may very.

He is a good banjo picker and I enjoy listening to him, but it won't do diddly to change how people are handling a crisis.

So, why not just enjoy the damned music?
