Kind'a hard to tell where the lifting body ends and the falling body begins.

It descended nearly 60,000 feet in about ten minutes.

That's a pretty drastic descent, even if Tony is at the controls.

I was just pondering, and we all know that that's usually trouble.

If a world where the young'uns deem themselves to be the most wonderful thing ever born of woman and not only fault, but hate their neighbors, one need only consider the Space Shuttle and say, Look what we did.  Just look what we did.

And, if you think that's neato, just wait until you see what we do next.

Yes, I assumed the gender of mothers.

Bite me.

I would love to be the "biscuit giver".  That is so wonderful!

I wonder if it is illegal to bait deer in that state? If it isn’t, I bet some biscuits would be cheaper than bags of deer feed.

This is a great video.

Excellent video, Eric!  I was just thinking while watching it - man, they'd be royally hosed if that gear chose to be recalcitrant and not extend properly given that they deploy it only a few seconds before touchdown.  No time to troubleshoot if something went wrong.  I suppose they wanted to keep it as clean as possible for as long as ppssible seeing as it had the glide ratio of a streamlined anvil (and given that the entire descent took only a few minutes, there's not really anything to be done), but it was just something that struck me as I watched.  It certainly was an amazing vehicle, especially considering its complexity (and fragility in some areas)!

The circle can never be more than 1-1/2 lanes wide. Ideally a scant one lane wide.

And then make them really small diameter in the U.S.A.  Most I have seen have paved centers "cause we know the trucks can't make the radius needed.
