Latest dumbass reason for getting banned from FlakeBait

I just bought another ban - this time for saying I was going to try to kidnap L, (one of my daughters), and bring her to a party on Sunday night.  That's a violation of "Community Stick-Up-Yo-@$$-Standards" and "Inciting violence" and results in my not being "allowed" to post, or respond to other posts, in my feed or in my groups.  And everything I do post after the "official ban" gets demoted for another month (like I care about that - I have a work-around for that Fleekbleaks!)

How stupid is this?  Also, I disputed it, but they claim they don't have enough reviewers to do all the work, so it probably will never get reviewed.  If it weren't for finding out what the Rebel Church Crew is doing each week, and keeping in contact with my far-flung family, I'd chuck them in the trash.  I wish the rest of them would go to ANY other social media site besides FreakBonk.  I'd rather be anywhere but there...

Don’t worry about it. Getting banned from most sites is about as important as getting kicked out of a sewer.

I got banned from a photography site for advanced amateur and professional photographers for being too nice. I wasn’t being cruel enough when critiquing other photographers work. Especially younger amateurs. I was supportive and gave helpful advice. Not enough drama to drive the mods sick appetites. So they kicked me out.

Meh. The "Standards" change with the wind. How detesting the liberals are is amazing at times.

I've reported child porn and trafficking and it was all deemed within the "Community Standards", but the SO's that I forwarded it to seemed to see it differently. Good for them, and I hope things at least got slowed for a while. I got to the book of F for some pages and to stay up with friends I may not otherwise be able to chase down.

I deleted my FakeBook account a couple of years ago.  It made a serious improvement to my quality of life.  I no longer felt the urge to be controlled by the little beeps and prompts from my computer and my outlook on life changed immensely.  Using forums is qualitatively different than trying to send a postage stamp sized amount of text out to a group of participants determined by FakeBook algorithms.

As to my FakeBook friends, they've got my number and big surprise, they never called.  Just like life before FakeBook: guess we weren't that close.  Meh!!

But,,,,,,,,does anyone really like you, man? :anim_rofl2:

I don't like anyone and don't even call my mom. I hate talking on the phone without a clear purpose and an end. It is a business tool to me, even if it is just my own. F2F, I'll go as long as you can stand me. LOL

All the notifications are turned off for every app on all my computer/phone stuff, except text messages on my phone.  I have to keep that on so I remember to pick my kids up from work when are all sharing one vehicle to get everyone everywhere, lol.  I couldn't stand being beeped at for every darn thing.

And I know I wouldn't hear from my far-away relatives  (Outside my husband and kids, I have no relatives in this state) if we weren't on FB together.  I'd miss that- no one writes letters anymore, and I hate talking on the phone, so we'd just fall out of touch if it weren't for "social media".  We are too far apart to manage to see each other for anything less than funerals at this point.  I'd still miss hearing from a few of them (well, ok, I'd actually miss hearing from 5 of them, the other 20+- well we just provide each other with mild amusement on occasion, but that's it).

Apparently, the people at a college reunion that I wasn't invited to voted me to be the most despised.  So, Fakebook was my one crack at pretending these people were my friends.  :headscratch: At some point, I asked myself why bother.

I had a couple of my band members invite me to join FB. That was as close as I've ever been to their system. I just stick with these type of forums. No need to communicate with the outlaws in another state either. tom.

I think the thing that bothers me the most is that by being a member, I am helping FakeBook to make money.  And since I consider them a corrupt, and biased entity with evil social engineering goals I want nothing to do with them.
