"This is what the New Green Deal Hippies want us to do!"

"The video, posted on Facebook by Texas resident Candace Metz on Sunday, appears to show more than a dozen Tesla vehicles wrapped around a parking lot near Interstate 10 in Louisiana, just off Prien Lake, Road in Lake Charles.

"Curious, I pulled over and asked the guy how long it took to charge — he said normally 30 min[utes] but these stations are running slow due to demand so it’s over an hour per car," she continued, adding, "Take a look at this line ... Each car is over an hour to charge.""

"The next closest Supercharger station is more than 100 miles away in Alexandria, though a few less-efficient Destination Charging stations are available nearby. However, Destination chargers only provide for "up to 44 miles of range per hour charged."

However, with the average cost of a new electric vehicle at more than $55,000 and videos like this one cropping up, that may be a tough sell."

They know that the infrastructure to support all those electric cars isn't there, which will mean far less traveling than ever before.

This is the reality of the new green deal.

Making sure that transportation isn't available to the masses.

Sure it's stupid reasoning but what did you expect from a demented fool and a whore.

There is no infrastructure to handle electric cars. And no plan to build it. Not even getting into the lack of power generation needed to replace gas with electricity to Run millions of card. Just the local hard wire required to do it.

Take my neighborhood. Underground high voltage cables come from substations to transformers in the neighborhood then run 240V to each house. This system is about 40 years old and is fine for now but is inadequate to charge hundreds of cars simultaneously.  It just won’t handle the amount of electricity required. It all needs to be replaced. Everywhere.

And no one in government is talking about it or has a plan to do it.

That reasoning does not come from the people to whom you refer. And it's not stupid.

It is the logical progression from afflicting commercial air travel with TSA and trying to afflict intercity buses and Amtrak and even subways with TSA.

That's what "they" want.  Take away your freedom of movement, or pricing it out of your reach.  Make ya take "Mass" transport.  Trains and buses.  Notice they aren't saying ANYTHING about Long haul TRUCKS, or Airplanes??  They KNOW it's impossible!!!  Besides, how do ya fight a war with electric tanks and APC's???  It's ALL complete bullshit.

That may be true, but if you think Biden and Harris thought it (or anything) up you're mistaken.

Please, it's stupid whore to us peons.

Wait until they try and force electric powered big rigs onto us.  That will be a massive fail, when supplies cannot get delivered in a timely fashion and Kamala has no toilet paper or caviar.

I’m just waiting to hear them howl when they finally get hit with road usage taxes. They are not paying taxes on fuel to build and maintain roads. St some point they will need to pay their fair share. And what about recycling fees for those toxic batteries? Or will they expect to just burry them like turbine blades?

Only issue I see is, they will do road usage taxes on everyone, not just the electric cars.
It's going to cost even more to drive an internal combustion engine vehicle to make up for the electric ones.

Those things are going to be illegally dumped on an unprecedented scale.

Did you hear the one about the guy who blew up his Tesla when he found out that it would cost $23,000 dollars to replace the battery?

This article was published: Dec. 30, 2019

New or higher registration fees go into effect Wednesday for electric vehicle owners in at least eight states. For the first time, a majority of U.S. states will impose special fees on gas-free cars, SUVs and trucks — a significant milestone as the trend toward green technology intersects with the mounting need to pay for upgrades and repairs to the nation’s infrastructure.

Other states with new or higher electric vehicle fees taking effect in 2020 include Iowa, Oregon and Utah. California, which accounts for nearly half of all electric vehicle sales in the U.S., is to collect a $100 fee on new “zero-emission” vehicles starting July 1.

Utah has a preliminary plan to road tax electric cars based on what similar gas vehicles pay per mile. No additional tax on gas cars.

I can really see it going the other way in application though.

Who knows what the feds will do.
