I think they have been here all along, but I just found out what they are this summer.

Anyone care to take a guess.

I bet Mrs Cicero knows what they are.

They look like watermelons. Are you a giant?

How cool is that!   I had no idea!   I would gladly try them.

Wow.  You learn something every day.

What an interesting thing to find at your place!

This thread was a lot more interesting when I thought the OP was a giant. I was just picturing him typing away using a toothpick or something on the keys of a tiny little keyboard.

Huh.  Never heard of em.  I'm not a cucumber fan, so I probably wouldn't appreciate them.  Pickled?  I might do that.

I grew those one year on purpose and they came back for the next two years!  We called them Mexican Cucumbers!  They are tasty little treats!  I should grow them again... I've never tried to pickle them but that sounds delicious.

You sound like a fun neighbor.  :)

I was betting that you knew what they were.

Cucamelons, also sometimes called Mouse Melons, or Mexican Sour Gerkins.

Actually, they are just a wild cucumber that look like miniature watermelons.

No toothpicks needed.
