It accomplishes nothing, except to create more trouble and hard feelings. I have left this thread open a bit, to let people vent, but this kind of thread is not what I want TBS to be about. What is dwelling on the past going to do for you, except waste your time now? I have said here, on at least a couple of dozen occasions, that I didn't create this site to be an I-Hate-GT site. I don't hate GT. Far from it. I felt pretty strongly about the new ownership situation, so I walked away. That doesn't change the fact that I built, owned and ran the site for a hell of a long time. I care about the place and I don't want to see it run down here. They have a right to run the place however they see fit, regardless of how we may feel about some of their policies. Those that don't like it have the right to vote with their feet. It is pointless though to dwell on the past. I've gone to a lot of time and expense to build this site. So I went shooting instead. I figured that if the rains came, I would be ~200 feet from my truck as opposed to 4 rocky miles. Spoiler And Jeffrey Epstein didn't kill himself. Looking at the list of quality contributors banned. Knowing the real reason they were on a short leash. Being aware of the double standards applied. It all adds up to a cheery "Welp, they finally got me too!". If you're looking for a quick personal experience, democraticunderground.com is a good place to get the boot for saying what the moderators don't want to hear. I'm also of the opinion that it's their site and they can do what they like. But people should also be free to collectively chuckle without being overly disparaging.
