So, yes.

I can remember fairly obscure songs from 1964.

But, I often  can't remember what day it is.

Good thing I have the talking keyboard wombats to tell me.

Now, all that remains to make the day is for 6 of janice to finally disclose the location of Frostbite Falls, Minnesota.

Not about the drillings, the cartridge.

8x57, neck up, neck down from 6mm Rem, 25 Roberts,  7mm Mauser to 9.3mm Mauser.

Then it crossed the pond, and fathered the 30-03.  25-06, 270, 280 Rem, 35 Whelen,

Post war there was the 308, 7-08, 234 Win, 22 Cheetah, .......

Somewhere in there is the 45acp.  Look at the casehead size, all .473

And on and on and on and on.................

Was the 8x57 derived from the 7x57?

It's a state secret.  The Moose swore us to it.

Is this all wood carving?

Everybody knows of the Glock 6 that can't be detected on metal sensors.

This is the 1911.5 version that can't be seen on metal detectors either.

Only problem is that it can't shoot.  But a little fact like that won't stop liberals from having a fainting spell over it.  Quick, make more laws!!

Glock SEVEN...

The glock six was also made of wood, similar to the wooden 1911

Cool!  I made a quick guess rather than check it.  Thanks for the correction!

The Die Hard movies are good entertainment. They liked to play it fast and loose with a little thing called "reality". That poor man John McClain should have died about twenty times over. In keeping with the genre,  I heard he actually survived when he sacrificed himself blowing up that Earth killing asteroid that he drilled.

Is it anywhere near Coon Rapids?

Please don't tell me that SuperAmerica is involved with moose and squirrel.

:o

Coon Rapids is a city that had a proposal to change it's name after many years.

It was thought that the name might preclude it's appeal to some.  It was overwhelmingly defeated.

There is a certain nostalgia back to olden times when this was virgin territory.

Then the high schools were built and no one has seen a virgin since.

"Her name was Virginia.  They called her "virgin" for short, but not for long".

Don't let the cat out of the bag, but it's Holiday..... Shhhhhhh.

There is a town north of Fort Worth named White Settlement.

You can imagine how that goes over with the woke generation.

As you may know, I have a 6 foot bird feeder.  I can attest to the fact that Coon Rapids comes by it's name legitimately.

I have been a favorite stop on the Racoon feeding trail through town.  I have fed small ones the size of a cat up to big ones about 4 feet long.  The big ones seem to come in pairs.

I just bought 80 lbs. of mixed bird seed a week ago and today I used the last of the first 40 lbs.  The birds spill a lot so the ground feeder get their share.

I may be responsible for the survival of untold numbers of wild life this Winter.  Or I'm just a pasty White pansy that being played by critters smarter than me.

Earlier today, I was worried that I might could be having delusions.

The talking wombats sitting on my keyboard assured me that I was not.

Now, I can nap peacefully.

I used to be schizophrenic, but we're fine now. (joke told to me by one of my students with schizophrenia).

So, this is code for secret history that aliens built trains, so they could write out their secret messages on rr tracks, seen quietly from orbit, without revealing their presence by emmitting radio waves.

This could be bigger than the insects on the Peruvian dessert.

Next up, the rr link to stonehedge!
