Batesmotel
Uberti 1885 in 303 British. Haven’t shot it yet but I’ve loaded up a bunch of ammo for it. I don’t want to trust it to old Military junk.

Walt Longmire
Ruger #1 Tropical Rifle in .458 pushing a 400 grain Barnes X solid copper bullet. Moose don't know what hit them.

Mrs.Cicero
The only single shot anything in use around here right now is Grandpa's old 20 gauge. It is the raccoon whacker.
Administrators Eric Posted June 25, 2022 Administrators Share Posted June 25, 2022 I used to have a single shot. It was a Tec-9 I bought from a buddy. That ******* thing couldn’t fire two rounds in a row without jamming. 2
Walt Longmire
My bow is a single shot and had slaughtered 22 bull moose.
Maser
Been spending so much time up in The Bored Room, I forgot we have a gun section here! I got a single shot Marlin 200 that was pretty much my kid's intros to shotguns. I came really close to buying a reloading press because the cost of .410 shells was hitting my wallet pretty hard at the time.
railfancwb
Last single shot I used was a TC Contender in 45/410 with which I dispatched a fox which had been killing my neighbor’s chickens. Used 410 with the de-twist muzzle adapter. Number six shot I think.

Ruger number ones are fairly heavy. At least my Tropical Rifle in .458 was. I hosed a moose with it. I have a break open Encore in .300 Win Mag that also has a .50 muzzle loader barrel. I'd like to get one of the Ruger No 1s that they did in stainless steel, with the grey-green laminate stock. The thing is gorgeous. I'd probably get it in 7mm Mag. The one pictured below is a .375 H&H Mag.

jmohme
Did someone say single shots? I'm kind of a Contender freak. Dont currently own any Contender rifles, but I do have these. I even have a Walt Disney World commemorative Contender in 22 WMR! Yes. I know it isn't really an official Disney endorsed product, but I still like showing it off.
