Highschool friend of mine had a Model T he bought for a 'song'.

That damn car would go anywhere, summer or winter.

We drove it up the back side of the ski slope, and rode it down the ski run.  That was the fastest that car had ever gone in it's life!

I am from Minnesota.  We grow corn.

I was in New Holland, Pennsylvania for business purposes many times.

I had never seen Corn that was 12 feet high in my life, before.  It was amazing!

That County (Lancaster County) was the highest yield per acre of Corn, of anywhere in the USA.

As a kid I used to visit a friend on his farm.  He drove the "V" wheel, he would never let me near it.  He had me drive the Farmall M  (gas/desiel) with the wide front wheels.

We were racing tractors down the gravel road side by side and a Milk Truck turned onto the road from a driveway.

I took the right ditch and my friend took the left ditch as we passed the truck at "full" speed.

We both drove out to the ditch and met on the road.  After we stopped, he exclaimed, "Wow, I didn't think you could drive a tractor that well!".

I was really pissed at him, and I told him, " Damn you, you never told me there was a brake pedal for each wheel!  I just happened to hit the right pedal that took me into the ditch!"

He then showed me the little steel bar that connected each brake pedal to the other one!
