If you are saying that that radiator looks a lot like a steam boiler without the firebox and smoke stack, that is probably becaus Aultman Taylor built Steam tractors until internal combusion power came to large traction engines. 4

Schmidt Meister
The Schmidt Family Reunion, 1925 ... lol, not really: The Charlie Birger gang, famous for their southern Illinois bootlegging and their ‘war’ with the KKK. The gang's leader, Charlie Birger, is sitting in the middle on top of the car. Shady Rest, Illinois, 1925. This was during the days when you could buy a Thompson at the local hardware store. Charles ‘Charlie’ Birger was publicly hanged on April 19, 1928. From what I have read, he was reportedly the last man to be ‘publicly’ hanged in Illinois. I don’t usually use Wikipedia as recommended reading but this is one of the very few links you can find on the Birger/KKK war. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Charles_Birger https://www.thecaucusblog.com/2020/04/williamson-county-was-dangerous-place.html

pipedreams
Heartfelt tribute to a great Cowboy & WWII veteran. “… (Fritz) Truan was the son of Mr. and Mrs. William Truan of Cody, Wyoming. When his father died, Fritz and his brother were the only source of support for their mother and 10 sisters. Truan joined the rodeo circuit in 1933. Rodeo supported his family well - Truan eventually won every bronc riding event in which he took part at least once. He was crowned the world champion bronc rider in 1939 and, in 1940, he won the world championship for All Around Cowboy at Madison Square Garden. In 1941 Truan rode the famous dare-devil horse Five Minutes to Midnight, winning the Pendleton Roundup, its coveted Sam Jackson Trophy and $5000. …”
