Administrators Eric Posted March 22 Author Administrators Share Posted March 22 Another of my favorite badguys: Barry the Baptist, played by Lenny McLean, who was a mean SOB in real life. He was a bare-knuckle boxer, with ties to some organized crime figures, as well as being a notorious bouncer who was once charged with homicide for the death of a man that he 'backhanded' and ejected from the nightclub where he was working. He was ultimately found not guilty when it came to light that the dead guy scuffled with the police as well later that night, before he died. So, it wasn't possible to determine who administered the injuries he later died of. My money is on The Guv'ner, a nickname he was widely recognized by. He died of lung cancer in 1999, before the last movie he appeared in was released, Lock, Stock & Two Smoking barrels.
