tous
I still say that mid-air refueling of a helo is an unnatural act. Kinda like a snake trying to have sex with a rhinoceros. But, then, helos are an unnatural act all by themselves. A million parts from the lowest government bid, all flying in loose formation and yearning to be free. 3 1
tous
I don't think that that is a complete aircraft. The aft end looks odd; we should see engines and stabilators back there. Plus, the Marines don't label their aircraft in bright colors. I think it's just the air frame or a mock up. That helo looks like a CH-53K, the latest version of the King Stallion. The Marines have been flying variants of those since around 1962? Great aircraft. Given an anchor point, the danged things could probably lift the planet.
