Administrators Eric Posted April 16, 2020 Administrators Share Posted April 16, 2020 I will remember him best for his role in First Blood, but I liked him in everything I ever saw him in. I’m sorry to hear of his passing. RIP Mr Dennehy. 5

tadbart
RIP to a great actor. His role in First Blood was so iconic. I hated him in just about every other thing I saw him in, because he was such an ******* in Rambo. Definitely the best actor in that film.
PPQer
If I remember my Hollywood trivia correctly, he broke his ribs doing stunts in First Blood.

ASH
not to be insensitive i thought he died years ago . good actor and rambo was his best . he also starred in a no name movie where he and some friends were cops , and they after some drug dealers and i think i recall alot of drug money fell off a truck , they decided to keep the money , and hid it a septic tank. one of their friends got killed and they turned the money in except enoigh to build a baseball field in the name of their partner . In Silverado, he was that bad guy who you really liked initially. That was a special depth that he could bring to a role. Some actors who play the heavy are never likeable. He portrayed man's conflicted nature very well and will be missed.
minderasr
I too thought he was fantastic in Silverado. He always played a great heavy. RIP sir.
Peng
I actually remember him from Miami Vice. He played one of those televangelists with a doper wife. Great episode. I swear I saw him on MASH also, might be wrong on that one. Edited April 17, 2020 by Peng
