Batesmotel
A friend and his crew are working very expensive overtime today to catch up on a project. Why? Because the Supply Manager went nuts. Her job was to simply order anything the shop or office needed and keep tabs on supplies so things weren’t waisted or double ordered. She went power happy. She controlled everything because she controlled the supply chain. Fights in the last few days. Refused to order cutting/cooling fluid for cutting a specific alloy. No layout fluid for assembly technicians. They were told to use ink they had in the office. Rejected $17 for a sheet of cardboard to design a shipping container. They traced it on a wall instead and had to repaint the wall. On overtime. Had to reformat a PDF of a tech document just to save paper. Customer rejected the new format. The final straw? Toilet paper. 5 restroom's in the building. 1 case of TP locked in a closet. 1 roll of paper allowed in each restroom. There was a walkout yesterday. She was fired last night. Everyone is on overtime today. 5 4
El Spicoli
At least she was fired. Some places don't even do that. 5

Hopefully management will have learned a lesson. 5

Mrs.Cicero
I like the part about her getting fired for her incompetence. 5 1
Fog
Some people are promoted so they can be fired and the extra cost incurred is less than the lawsuit if you didn't promote them. This is reality created by oversized government.
Ramjet38
There will be a lawsuit for being some sort of racist misogynist reason or another.

There’s always an ambulance chaser who will file a suit just for its share of the go away settlement. Merits of the case have nothing to do with it. 2
