It is pretty spectacular when the fuel vapor starts venting from the top of the tank. It did a number on the overhead branches of that try. It is lucky that it wasn't still standing by the curb. It might have started the awning over the sidewalk of the storefronts on fire.

One thing that surprised me is that the kickstand didn't collapse. The bike was pivoting on it. It must have had one hell of a detent on it. That is the kind of stand that puts you on your ass if you forget to put it up and then try to lean left.
