Hot peppers are said to have an effect on prostate cancer cells, in a good way. Probably have an effect on lots of other cells too. I attended a chili cook off at a friends place a few years ago. Part of the activities involved were a pepper tasting contest where participants ate hotter peppers on every round. My grand daughter was thinking this young Native boy was real cute. He hung in there right towards the end when the habaneros came out. Shortly after he was at the edge of the lawn puking and retching. I asked her if she still thought he was cute. "Yeah, sort of."
