Moshe
I wish they would announce things better. The only reason I knew they were in town was an e-mail went out for today. I am O+, so I am happy to give. Edited July 13, 2019 by Moshe 2
Silentpoet
My donation wasn’t acceptable. They don’t accept it buckets.

Maser
It's a noble thing to do and all, but I just don't trust it. I don't trust not knowing if my blood is going to a good person who deserves it or an evil person who doesn't. I don't want my blood going to save the life of a child molester who was caught by the father in the act and beaten to a bloody pulp.

Dric902
I misunderstood, I didn’t realize that it had to be your own blood . 1
railfancwb
I gave for many years, until my blood became unacceptable due to Postate cancer. My wife was ill enough one time to receive two units of whole blood. So I’ve been on both sides. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
kerbie18
I don't think I can donate while on blood thinners. So unless they like their blood on the thin side, I won't be donating. I did it a handful of times when I was younger.
DrB
Did you say blood? After dark when I can go out where do you all live. Location does not matter, I can fly like a bat.. Dave..
Moshe
The RV's don't pop up around here much. So, instead of the general one on FB, which doesn't help many people. This one popped on my e-mail for cancer patients. I have been poked, prodded had huge needles put in me, this was nothing. The girl in front of me started throwing up, that was a new one on me. I have never witnessed that reaction before. The questionnaire was interesting, I guess most people wouldn't have passed. They wanted to know if you know if you engaged in sex with a prostitute ever, were an illegal drug user with needle, and ever had sex with a man.
railfancwb
Reckon Red Cross has changed donor standards or gotten desperate. They have started soliciting me for blood donations. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
tadbart
I'm due to donate again. Just a 1 gallon donor thus far. I always feel GREAT after donating; guess I run a little rich. To me, it's like taking a really satisfying dump.
janice6
I am frequently in a position to donate, unfortunately, no one is in the right place at the right time to collect it.

No need to make up some story about how you can't donate because you're unsure of where your precious blood is going to go. Jesus Christ. And yes, I donate blood and plasma. I'm AB+ so they hound me for the latter.
