If you own rental property in California, or just want to renovate your own home before moving back in, you may be out of luck.  A new bill introduced in the state government would allow the confiscation of your property after just 90 days standing empty.

The issue of homelessness in California is a problem in need of addressing and worthy of creating ideal solutions to remedy. But should that solution to homelessness be resolved by what some might consider to be legislated theft?

Because the recently introduced Senate Bill 1079, if enacted, could force an entity to sell their home to the city or state – at a price essentially determined by the city or state.

Would be more efficient if, once they seize a house, they immediately bulldoze it and level the land for tents. Waiting until the former homeless trash it beyond salvage just wastes time.

Baltimore Mayor Begs Residents To Stop Shooting Each Other So Hospital Beds Can Be Used For Coronavirus Patients

BALTIMORE (WJZ) — Baltimore Mayor Jack Young urged residents to put down their guns and heed orders to stay home after multiple people were shot Tuesday night amidst the coronavirus pandemic.

Young said hospital beds are needed to treat positive COVID-19 patients and not for senseless violence. Seven people were shot Tuesday night in the Madison Park neighborhood, as Baltimore reported its fifth positive coronavirus case Wednesday.

I don’t think I would have worded it quite like that;

Chancellor Angela Merkel used a rare television address to urge Germans to abide by restrictions bringing social life to a standstill, calling the coronavirus pandemic the country’s greatest challenge since World War II.

“This is serious -- and you need to take it seriously,” Merkel said in a somber tone during a speech delivered to the nation on Wednesday evening. “There has been no such challenge to our country since German reunification – no, since World War II – that relies so much on our joint action in solidarity.”

California seems hell bent on proving that if you take citizen's wealth and redistribute it over all your population, the result is that you now have all poor people, instead of just some poor people.

This isn't unique to California, it's the goal of liberals all over this nation.

Indeed. Without even being elected Bernie has seen some of his dreams realized - empty shelves in grocery stores.
