Administrators Rabbi Posted July 8, 2018 Administrators Share Posted July 8, 2018 What dead brand would you like to see come back....and what would they do? My most likely choice to actually come back is Pontiac. I just want Firebirds to return. However, I really wish someone would make a go with Duesenberg. I would want them to be what they were, the maker of the worlds most luxurious ultra high performance cars. Someone like what Bugatti is doing. An earth shattering GT and an earth shattering large sedan. 2
Cubdriver
My first thought on reading your title was Pontiac. An old Duesenberg would be awesome, but I'm not sure what a modern version would look like. Those crazy Bugattis and the like don't really do anything for me, strange though that may seem. -Pat
tous
Studebaker. They made some beautiful, innovative automobiles back when it was all about fins and chrome. And, the Avanti. Not everyone's cup of tea, but it was a true American performance car in the early 1960s.

I wouldn’t mind seeing an updated version of a Fiero either.
Zeno
I'd have to go with Delorean...I think a modern remake would be a lot of fun.

PNWguy
Datsun. Datsun and then Nissan were great vehicles until the early 2000's. Watching the reliability ratings drop like a rock has been heartbreaking.

Maybe the Great-Great grandson is the one working on those Secret Service cars.

KWalrad
My first thought was Pontiac, just for the Trans Am / Firebird and the Fiero. I'd also like to see an updated El Camino and Ranchero. They're just like the mullet - business up front and party in the back.

The Silver/Golden Hawks were some pretty futuristic looking performance cars in the late 50's.

lethal tupperware
my 67 firebird turned 12.00 in the quarter. Motor was redone at a speed shop. 400 put out 450 lbs. of torque at rear wheels on the dyno. I would have a hard time affording gas at todays prices. It was quick, but only got 4mpg if you used the go pedal.
Mr. Black
I'll be the odd man out. Suzuki. I really want a bare bones Jimny to come to the states. And yes I do own a 1988 Suzuki Samurai.
