I have heard people say that they wouldn't slow down a bit for a small critter on the road.  So this is a good sight.

True, but there have also been people killed for walking out into traffic trying to protect ducks or other animals crossing the road and other drivers didn't pay attention or care.

This was an LEO with lights and concern for drivers and empathy.

You and I don't have the equipment to stop traffic properly.

It's what they have trained to do, stop traffic.

Yep...  It did get kinda hot in my hand when I grabbed a wire or two. Is that what you mean???  I don't think I did anything wrong.  Black like in DC is minus or ground?????
