The Buick Wildcat II was actually a 1954 and not a 1953 and it had the new 322 cubic inch nail head V8 that was supercharged and would have been a much better performing car than the 53-54 chevy Corvette.  This car actually used a '53 Corvette frame and also had a fiberglass body

I think that is an OEM color  IIRC it's called TROPICAL ROSE. Back then a friend had a Crown Victoria in that color (They were 2 door hardtops then)

Gotta' love how FORD reuses the model names, Crown Victoria 4 door sedan....Mustang electric sedan :eric:
