The poor thing needs a good cleaning, from the looks of it.

Man it had some dried on powder that had to be scrubbed off the frame, but it is clean now and the bore looks great and the gun overall has very little wear. Took the arched grips I just put on my model 915 off and switched them. Another set of arched grips are on the way , man it raises up POA just right.

Yeah, it always bugs me to stick a dirty gun in the safe too. Nice pistol and good on you for getting it cleaned up. :599c64bfb50b0_wavey1:

The same here.

My father insisted that the sun never goes down on a dirty firearm.

You shoot it, you clean it.

Before bed.

Heck, before supper.

Or you don't shoot it again.

I remember when Hoope's #9 still had carbon tetrachloride.

It cleaned much better back then.

We used flannel patches and washed them with the laundry.

Well, Mom did.

I'm surprised most of us of that age are still alive.

Mrs. G kicks me when I wash gun rags in her washing machine. Or when I cook skrimps in her dishwasher.
