A decade later, researchers tested some of the fungi and determined that it had a large amount of the pigment melanin -- which is also found, among other places, in the skin of humans.

...

People with darker skin tones tend to have much more melanin, which is known to absorb light and dissipate ultraviolet radiation in skin.

Tomorrow CNN will run headline:

"FOX recommends sending African-Americans to work in Chernobyl!"

From the article:  "...This period coincides with Earth’s crossing the “magnetic zero” resulting in the loss of its “shield” against cosmic radiation," the paper's introduction states...."

"...Geomagnetic reversals occur a few times every million years on average. However, the interval between reversals is very irregular and can range up to tens of millions of years. …",  https://theconversation.com/why-the-earths-magnetic-poles-could-be-about-to-swap-places-and-how-it-would-affect-us-71910

This is being tracked, and a short while ago it was front page news.  When people were told that they could do nothing to change it's occurrence, it suddenly was dropped from public interest.

Just because it is scary and we can do nothing to change the inevitability of it's occurrence, doesn't mean it won't happen.

One effect that could  be an indicator of this is the rapid movement of the magnetic North pole to the West of it's customary position.

In the text of the following statement the author used the phrase, " "This MAY be part of a normal oscillation...".  Then he follows it with "....It WILL....".

MAY is used to indicate a certain measure of likelihood or possibility.  Not a certainty!

Will is used to indicate the likelihood  or certainty.  While he knows full well nothing is certain about his claim.

If we wait long enough, a fungus will appear that eats liberals.

I would respectfully suggest that you have it backwards, we need science to isolate and develop a cure for the fungus that has already infected liberals.
