Here’s One From The ‘Why?’ File

Used to be, I'd question bout anything stupid/inbred/crazy. I asked "Why?" a lot. And it made me a very angry and antisocial person. To the point that it affected my work and social life.

Nowadays, you could walk into my ER with one of these pistols hanging half out of your urethra, and I wouldn't DARE ask why.

Who, What, Where, When, and How, all make sense.

WHY will make you a very bitter and suspicious person.

Didn't Henry Deringer (no, that is not a misspelling) pretty much cover the single-shot pocket pistol in the 1860s?

From a geek perspective, the barrel looks about as long as the danged bullet is.

Using standard loads, how much propellant goes unburned?

Is muzzle velocity measured in inches per second rather than feet per second?

Will the bullet go three feet and just drop to the ground?

Yeah, there are tons of smaller, lesser rounds that would provide better performance out of a barrel that size. That pistol is just silly.

I’d rather have my Kel-Tec P3AT, if I’m carrying something small. I guess that is why they make so many flavors. So everyone can find one they like.
