I mean the part where it says a prez has his tile revoked, judges, EOs

(cause it don’t)

.

Oh yeah, well, there's that.

(Except the tile part. I HAVE to have beer when I tile, which means I can only tile until I get drunk, so it's only a half-day operation. I doubt Obama has ever done anything so manual as tile.)

A former Army staff sergeant who took on enemy fighters at close range, first with an M249 light machine gun and then with a knife, will be the first living veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom to receive the Medal of Honor, Military.com has learned.

David S. Bellavia, 43, of Batavia, New York, will have his Silver Star upgraded to the highest military award for valor in a June 25 ceremony at the White House, a source close to Bellavia confirmed to Military.com. The news of the award was first posted at the American Legion's Burn Pit blog Thursday and then confirmed by Army Times. The White House is expected to announce the award next week.

Bellavia's Silver Star citation, for heroism on Nov. 10, 2004, in Fallujah, Iraq, reads like the script of an action movie.

So, you've guarded the outer door during Masonic meetings?

And your lodge allows you to drink on duty?

The most positive way to make a crappy science fiction futuristic movie, is to turn it into a social  justice warrior lesson for present day issues, instead of a fanciful experience that pulls you out of the present reality, into an imaginative universe where you are willing to ignore the recognized limitations of today's reality.

Looking for a diversion from reality is entertaining.  Dragging the present day's social issues into it turns it into a school room lesson telling you what's wrong with you.  This isn't escapism.

A lot of wars have been omitted. Wonder why?

Judging what people did in the past is simply a judgement based on present day mindset.  Take Vietnam for instance. Most all of us that ended up in uniform as well as those who marched against the war or went to Canada attended primary schools that held NUKE air raid warnings and hid under our desks for a couple minutes.  Our grade school  teachers were very conservative compared to today but by the time we got to college the professors for the most part were much more left.  Young people today started out school with socialist teachers and received socialist/communist indoctrination through their formative years.  I wonder how the grandchildren of those socialist kids of today will judge them.

Well, Hillary, Bill and Chelsea had to take their living expenses out ………………………….. and, then, Hillary had to draw out some cover up money.  Before you know it, there was no Haiti Relief Money left. ?
