What does Covfefe mean?

Trump tweeted the word "Covfefe" in a tweet several years ago in what everyone has just assumed was a typo. It was an early morning tweet and no explanation has ever been offered. The tweet was deleted later but many people screenshot it, including me.

Many, many 'covfefe' memes followed.

That’s the problem. They will “tell us” they will tell us the difference between truth and lies, but the truth is that they will only tell us half truths and lies. Such is the world of propaganda. To tell only lies, at first, lies must contain an small element of truth.

In the end the people will become so confused and fatigued they will just accept anything they are told as “truth” even though they know it is a lie. Every dictatorial regime knows this. Every regime has had a form of truth ministry, followed my an enforcement arm or thought police.

We are there. They have played the long game.

The Department of Homeland Security’s new ‘disinformation’ unit will be headed by a woman who says free speech makes her ‘shudder’ and who falsely labeled the Hunter Biden laptop story disinformation.
Just two days after it was revealed that Elon Musk had reached an agreement to buy Twitter, DHS chief Alejandro Mayorkas announced the creation of a “disinformation governance board.”
Jankowicz’s view of free speech is particularly odious. Free speech apparently makes her physically shudder.
“I shudder to think about if free speech absolutists were taking over more platforms, what that would look like for the marginalized communities, which are already shouldering disproportionate amounts of this abuse,” she tweeted in response to Musk’s Twitter takeover.
But crucially, the woman handed the role of deciding what constitutes “disinformation,” previously labeled a completely truthful story “disinformation” because it was seen to be harmful to Joe Biden’s presidential chances.
Jankowicz promoted the actual disinformation that the New York Post Hunter Biden laptop story was a “Russian influence op.”
She also wrongly asserted that it was a “Trump campaign product,” while also claiming Trump supporters would show up at the polls with weapons to intimidate voters.

The Food and Drug Administration is planning to ban the sale of menthol cigarettes. The proposed ban was announced by FDA Commissioner Dr. Robert Califf during a Senate committee hearing. He said that the ban would "improve the health and reduce the mortality risk of current smokers of menthol cigarettes or flavored cigars by substantially decreasing their consumption and increasing the likelihood of cessation."
The FDA said that an estimated 18.6 million people smoke menthols, accounting for 36% of all smokers in the United States. African Americans make up a disproportionate amount of menthol smokers. The FDA said that 85% of Black smokers use menthols, compared to 30% of White smokers.
Younger smokers also tend to smoke menthol cigarettes. According to data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, more than half of children who smoke use menthols. In addition, many adults have said they first started smoking menthols.
The proposed ban is estimated to save 650,000 lives over the next 40 years. It will also result in nearly one million people quitting smoking within the first year and a half.
"Our decision is based on clear science and evidence established the addictiveness and harms of these products," Kathy Crosby, director of the Office of Health Communication and Education at the FDA Center for Tobacco Products, said.

because people who smoke menthols won't just switch to non-menthol cigarettes when the menthols are unavailable...

A certain percentage will, of course, but there are certain groups of people who tend to only smoke menthols and I've been around them enough to know that they will turn down a non-menthol when they are out, and they they say they would quit before they switch.
