gwalchmai Posted July 2, 2020 Share Posted July 2, 2020 "Not wearing the mask" doesn't kill the non-wearer. It kills everyone else. Because the mask doesn't protect the wearer - it protects others. That way we can most effectively stigmatize the non-compliant. If the mask protected the wearer it would mean folks were making their own risk/benefit decision.
