But at least the good old American nylon belts had an honorable flat spot in cold weather. Not this new foreign malaise. My BIL had the belts come loose on his tires, he said on the trip to my place they "thumped". All of the tires have nice flat spots, and when they line up together it's a VERY rough ride.
