For awhile, pay phone calls in New Orleans were a nickel each, and phones were spaced close enough together that many storefront businesses used a nearby pay phone as their only business phone - calling and receiving. Price was raised to a quarter a call, which soon put a stop to that nonsense.

Never past up the opportunity to check the coin return slot.

Makes me wonder how, when investigators are looking for Blood stains with a UV light, how do they know it's not someone's dog experiencing a rare moment in time of creative peeing...……...…………  This is a rhetorical statement.

It would appear that we are looking for more of us. And more of life just like us, is even less likely to exist than life in any other form.

By looking for more of us, I'm saying that we are looking for life forms that are so similar to us that they think the way we do in physical concepts,  utilize nature is the way we do and physically travel by the means we do, and use methods to communicate like we do.

Suppose instead, life is distributed throught the electromagnetic spectrum and we represent a very narrow slice of visible light forms that may not be shared by those nearest to us.

This spectrum could support almost an infinite number of existances completely unaware of each other, even coexisting in the same time reality.

For example, we could have neighbors that are intelligent in the high energy particle spectrum, or in the very long wave close to single cycle frequencies with practically no mass.

Suppose life exists in the X-ray spectrum, and they are trying to communicate with anyone else by utilizing highly convergent X-ray beams using energy of a star for power.

We report strange behavior from the observed Universe in various forms of radiation throughout all the known spectrum, and all the while, it's intelligent being communicating with each other, or intentional broadcasts in the spectrum these being exist.  So they are looking for others like themselves, just like we are looking like life like us.

In fact much of the background radiation observed by us, certainly not all of it, might be from multitudes of intelligent beings,  each trying to find more like them.

They could be everywhere but we don't look in the right places in our physical reality to find them.

We claim to experience time as continuous.  Suppose some other beings experience quantized time and the live from one spontaneous moment to another with no concept of the gaps between their "moments of existence".

If that speculation could exist then the information from them would be bursts too.  Maybe much of the spontaneous high energy bursts we monitor in physics might represent some form of life or communications.

Just suppose...…..………………………..
