If you drive slow and gently and kinder, the vines grow leaves until it's a jungle. If you hotrod it, the leaves drop off and flutter away. I've had great fun making sure that it's just a bare vine each time I park it. Edited October 4, 2019 by Huaco Kid 1

A commanding officer was quoted during the Korean war, as saying that the enemy has a complete disregard for their soldiers lives in battle. Our job is to convince them that we have equally as much disregard as they do. IIRC Hamburger Hill.   WWI was a war managed by Europe's aristocracy, and since they had little real knowledge of battle tactics, it turned into a war of attrition. When stupid people wage war, it is the soldier that takes the brunt of the pain. One of the best philosophies of war was a quote from General Patton: "The object of war is not to die for your country but to make the other bastard die for his." George S. Patton

Huaco Kid
Elizabeth Smart is at this very small airport. I don't know if she's gone political now, but she's surrounded with suited / sunglassed excorts and an entourage of state troopers. She seems to be being fussy, or having a tantrum, or something.
