For a number of years a chief financial officer I knew was named Klutz. He was anything but the popular meaning of the word.

I worked with a woman who had worked with someone named Helen Learn.  Often, when people were having trouble getting up to speed on something, they were told to, "Go to Helen Learn."

So this is my old mans knife I finally found. It’s been in that case for 20 years was covered in green crap. Got the knife cleaned. But the case is crappy looking. Should I attempt to clean it? With what? I know leather cleaner but what’s your guys go to leather cleaner? Buy a new one from buck? Currently they are sold out. Jesus I suck at photography it’s not even the whole knife.

A soft tooth brush will safely take off the green oxide.

I don't know about others, but!

My go to for Leather is Saddle Soap.  It cleans  and makes it soft and pliable.  It doesn't work wonders and you will have to supply your own elbow grease.

Great Idea.  Good luck with a cool memento!
