The great part of intelligent conversation is hearing new information. It seems we've reached an impasse. I've long viewed our democracy as a revolution in slow motion. Through voting we have a non-violent way to change our government to meet our needs. Of course, this depends on the wisdom of the majority, which is not infallible but I hope over time should be self correcting. Thanks for sharing your views.
