The video doesn't do that justice. To see that in person makes your day. Almost as neato as an F-15 doing an unrestricted launch and climb. tous Posted March 21, 2020 Share Posted March 21, 2020 When I ponder things like high-performance aircraft, automobiles, huge ships, even down to the intricate workings of a mechaincal watch, I just sit in awe and think, Look what they made. Just look at what they made. If we can make those, we can make anything. Give them a slide rule, some graph paper and a .5mm Pentel and they'll get you to the Moon. Huaco Kid Posted March 21, 2020 Share Posted March 21, 2020 Many times, I pulled off the interstate to watch them trying to land the Goodyear blimp (Texas) in very heavy winds. Sometimes it would be vertical, nose down, engines gunned..... And guys would be running around the field, trying to catch the ropes. Sometimes they'd all be tugging on the ropes, and a gust would spin the blimp, and they'd all fly off, across the field.
