Al Czervik
Have you ever had fairly immediate family, that you thought you knew fairly well, stay with you, and realize you don't know them at all? Maser
I'm usually the one in my family that everyone wants to forget about. 2

railfancwb
Most likely all have had this. One may love all known family members without having to like them all. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

SigMan
Yes. It's one of several reasons that I prefer hotels both when visiting family and having family visit me.

KWalrad
I'll see your Yatzee and raise you one, Lone Ranger. Ever been that family member that other family members claim not to know at all? Yeah. Me neither. I hate that guy.

blueiron
I don't allow family to visit, stay, or contact me. What few are left are sociopaths, dysfunctional, or co-dependent.
janice6
The only "family" I associate with are my kids and their families. They are a treat to be with, and we never have had a truly harsh word among us. Well, that's not entirely true. We take and give no quarter, when it's funny and embarrassing. I can honestly tell you that I would rather be with my immediate family than any other people. Once I was surprised by my oldest daughter's husband's comment. We were at a Restaurant having a get together for my Grandson that was visiting for a short while. As usual, my kids were needling each other and giving as well as they were taking. When my oldest daughter's husband turned to me laughing and said, "I love your family". I couldn't have been more proud.
