Global warming…….., global cooling...………. or just a huge new pile of pigeon **** on top of an apartment building for politicians - whatever.  Why can't people take a hard look at the history of this planet and consider......just once...……….consider that it could possibly be a natural occurrence. Some how I don't believe the past ice ages and warming periods on earth were caused by people breathing, cow farts, or ants screwing. **** happens. Get used to it!

This kind of thinking does not help to remove money from the producers and give it to the lazy and stupid.

Soo much stupid here on this thread... climate change is a yes. All man made is an iffy. But why would we add more than less poison into the environment?

Climate change is a fact because yes, the climate does change. and that's why the whole "The sky is falling" premise had to change from "Global warming" to the catch-all phrase "Climate Change".

And yet all the millions of dollars that have been spent and are still being spent to counteract global warming have been futile since the problem isn't Global warming anymore because the slowdown in the rate of average global surface warming that took place from 1998–2012 (relative to the preceding 30 years)  has unequivocally ended. So what happens if we enter a global cooling cycle? Millions will have to be spent replacing LED and fluorescent lights with incandescent, replacing R-134a refrigerant with R22 Freon, and everyone will have to underinflate their tires.

Ridiculous? Of course it is. But that's how idiotic the whole notion is that man can control the climate.

But as far as putting Poison into the environment that's a whole other issue, dealing with pollution. No one is advocating in favor of dirty air or dirty water but the climate change environ-mental-ists are not talking about actual pollutants but instead are claiming that C02 (water vapor) is a pollutant because it causes Global warming and yet we can't call it global warming anymore because there isn't enough evidence that global warming is actually taking place..

And now the perennially melodramatic have resorted to calling carbon dioxide a "poison".  My plants seem to love it, so it's not working so well killing them.  Once again, calling it "climate change" covers all your bases, and lets you cry and wail and scream about floods, droughts, cold spells, hot spells, forest fires, hurricanes, tornadoes, snowstorms, and a lack of snowfall.  You can never be wrong.  If you really think CO2 is a poison, stop personally poisoning the environment.  Lead by example.  Hold your breath until  you pass out, then repeat, until manmade anywaythewindblows stops.

That could be the GREAT PROGRESSIVE EXPERIMENT...……………………………………...their gift to mankind. I am soooooooooooooo waiting for that to happen.

The coal waste is more than CO2 , look up Duke energy and hurricane. Coal ash has heavy metals. And...There are limits to that gas for plants just as too much oxygen can harm a human.

And battery production causes horrible pollution, with toxins and heavy metals.  But we're supposed to ignore that because, you know, the planet and all.  Amazing how the planet's climate wasn't changing until Western Civilization.  Lead.  Cadmium.  Lithium.  Mercury.  Silver.  Nickel.  At every point in the process, from mine to landfill or recycling center, pollution is produced that is harmful to the planet.  We're supposed to ignore all this in the quest to return the United States to an agrarian Utopia, but some people choose to look behind the curtain.

I am hereby the first to use Man Made Geology Change .

Earthquakes, volcanoes, landslides, mountain formation, continental drift.

It's going to be really really really really really expensive to fix.

Start sending me money, now, and I'll slowly funnel it back into your special interests.

Before it's too late!!!

Like, ten years, then it's irreversible!

You forgot tsunamis.  We need a tax to avoid this horrible outcome.  Send donations to the PAC lobbying for these new urgent taxes to our account in the Cayman Islands.  Please, it’s for the children!!!

I'm going to start a fund for the Czervik Compound Impenetrable Envirodome to protect against tsunamis and hurricanes.

Sounds good.  But we need to find more donors.  If we end up with more partners than donors, my scuba diving in the Caymans is going to be severely restricted.  ?????

Coal waste is "More" than C02? More what? More meaning that it exists in greater amounts? Or that it is more of a pollutant? The Global warming zealots who's theories you're advocating and who you've aligned yourself with are saying that C02 causes global warming and is in effect a pollutant. They dishonestly change the terms of the argument in ways that suit them best.

The fact that they've shifted the argument from global warming to "Climate Change" is just one example of how dishonest they are and why they have no credibility. The popular politically motivated understanding of Climate Change is a faith-based interpretation of actual science and all skeptics and non-believers are scorned and looked upon as heretics and infidels.

Posit a hypothesis.  Make predictions.  If your predictions fail to materialize the hypothesis is wrong.  So far, the manmade global warming (mamaglobs, for short) crowd has made predictions that repeatedly fail to materialize.  Their dire warnings only serve to encourage them to make more wild predictions of impending doom unless--the "solution" is always the same--those enjoying the progress of two-thousand years of Western Civilization cut back, shave off, turn down, reduce, reuse, recycle and most importantly redistribute tax money on "green" special interests.  Unless the mamaglobs can make at least a few realistic predictions that actually come to pass, why should anyone believe anything they say?

Actually I did. and the fact that a hurricane washed coal ash into a river has nothing whatsoever to do with climate change unless you believe that coal ash being washed into a river causes hurricanes instead of the other way around.

To even bring it up is a total non-sequitur that has nothing to do with the price of eggs in Fargo North Dakota.

non se·qui·tur
/ˌnän ˈsekwədər/
noun
noun: non sequitur; plural noun: non sequiturs; noun: nonsequitur; plural noun: nonsequiturs
  1. a conclusion or statement that does not logically follow from any previous argument or statement.

There are so many problems with this I can't even begin to describe them.  Read it for yourselves.

Starting in 2020, all new homes in California must come with solar panels. Builders are getting ready

What are the odds in Vegas that CA will now put additional taxes on solar panels, installation of solar panels, and use of solar panels to make up the shortfall in energy tax income caused by this policy.

Also a new tax on new-build houses.  ☹️??
