tous
Delta wings! At least it doesn't have canards. NB remark refers to the F-16 prototype, not the AD-1. Edited September 13, 2018 by tous

No canards, but this one does have some funky strakes:

tous
Consider which entities favor canards and which don't. The US has never fielded a high-performance aircraft with canards. The only serious prototype that comes to mind with canards was the XB-70. The Russians have one front-line fighter/bomber with canards, the Sukhoi SU-33/34. Now, look to a Europeans. Dang near everything with wings and an engine has canards. Is it simply a difference in design philosophies? 1

I and my brothers actually watched one of these taxi out of the hanger one morning, sans pilot. The pilot showed up a bit later trying to pull up his coveralls after we all yelled in unison; " Daddy, you airplane is leaving without you. " He did catch it. It's funny now and it was hilarious then. Edited September 14, 2018 by willie-pete 1

C_Hallbert
It's their obsession with mustaches... I have no tolerance with these ostentatious, narcissistic displays of exhibitionism. Someone like my old Drill Instructor should bitch slap that thing off his face, then slap his mother and ass punt his father out onto a heavily trafficked Highway!
