At a recent local car show I asked one owner about bumpy roads. “No problem. Put hydraulic cylinders at all four wheels and use them to lower the car for show and raise it for go.”

railfancwb
For some reason a number of railroads selected Pontiac station wagons for hi-rail vehicles. Here are a few pictures. (A hi-rail vehicle is one with flanged guide rails front and rear which could be lowered to ride the rails and raised for highway travel.)

What looks like a Pink Vette, reminded me of the picture I saw long ago of a high priced fancy sports car being driven in Hollywood. It was the rage back then to have bumper stickers saying things like, "made in Der Black Forrest by Der Elves", and all kinds of witty sayings for where the vehicle was made. This fancy sports car in the picture was being driven by a gorgeous young blonde, and her bumper sticker said, "Made in Hollywood by practically everyone!". I really loved that comment! I wouldn't be surprised if she had bought a Pink Vette later on. Edited April 28, 2020 by janice6
NPTim
What in the name of sweet sister Sadie is this? I don’t know if I told y’all, but my dream is to make cars styled after cars of the 30’s, 40’s, and 50’s but with modern amenities. 1
