MY old dog doesn't get much warning when he has to go, but to his credit, he makes it to the patio door and ceramic tile floor before he lets loose.

The funny part is that he knows you don't pee in your own house, so he comes right away to the nearest person and stares you down, until you hunt up the mess and clean it.  He never barks any more.

Long ago, we lived in Gainesville, FL, with a pair of tabbies colored similar to that. I took one, Dave, to the local vet for a checkup one day. The exam rooms were half-glass with the lower half made up of painted cinder blocks, which were not sealed, and which were open under the glass on both sides. Of course, Dave discovered this while waiting for the vet and proceeded to 'splore. Before I could stop him he went down into the wall and began crawling around through it. After a moment he popped his head up in the adjacent exam room where a big Irish Setter was being examined. The setter saw Dave and immediately wanted to play (or eat, IDK), but the tech's back was to Dave so she couldn't see him. Dave started poking his head up over there from different holes, which the dog found amusing, but worried me. After a few minutes of this Dave came back out on my side and the vet arrived, I told him what happened and he said "Yep, happens all the time".
