"Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm faced criticism on social media Sunday after she said Americans being crushed by the weight of inflation can lower their energy costs by installing solar panels at a 30% discount under the Inflation Reduction Act.

During an appearance on "Fox News Sunday," Granholm said the Democrats' $437 billion climate and health care legislation will provide thousands of dollars in tax rebates for lower- and middle-class Americans to weatherize their homes.

"If you are low income, you can get your home entirely weatherized through the expansion from the bipartisan infrastructure laws, a significant expansion — you don't have to pay for anything," Granholm said."

These people seem to be incapable of doing even the most basic economic analysis.  People can't afford these things.  They don't last as long as they are supposed to and the savings aren't enough to pay for the panels.  When these panels are later improperly disposed of, it will be an ecological disaster.

You can't just be Captain Picard and say, "Make it so Number One."

It's pure fairy dust being imposed on the proletariat by an out of touch elitist, ivory tower establishment.

Used to work with a lot of people in the DC area and believe me,  They have no clue how the rest of the country is.  All they know is that they make more money then you or I.   Even though most have roommates so they can live.  No dream of buying a house.  But they are in their twenty's and making 6 digits...So they must be better then you!!!
