Thompson-Center’s Contender in 45/410 has a removable choke device to take the spin from 410 shot to hopefully avoid the donut pattern normal when shot shells are fired in rifled barrels. Are there equivalent devices available for the Taurus and S&W revolvers capable of using 410 shells?

On R&R in Hawaii in '67 I bought this S&W model 28 and took it back to my unit. I'd bought I think three boxes of ammo with it. Everyone in the platoon had to try it and we shot up all the ammo but six. I got tired of lugging it around and sold it to a guy going home. He said he would stick it in his pants to get through the check in Okinawa. I imagine the stories he told back home and the pistol is probably now a family heirloom.

Edit: This was in the good old days where you counted out the money and went out the door with your pistol.
