Huaco Kid
Our backyard was pretty steep. And there was a cliff, level, cliff, level part. I was hanging out with my big sister's drunken and stoned high school friends. We had a 12-person toboggan. The big kids had been doing it all day. They had invited me several times. 12-million mph, while breaking your back on frozen humps, fun! The last run, all of us piled on, twenty of us, drunken-stoned big kids... Only... All the big kids rolled off.... and shot the little brother, alone, down the cliff, all by himself. Sliding on the ice, the toboggan is just a skate, with no resistance. I didn't hit anything. The jagger-bushes just slowed me to a crawl, after 1/4 mile. Ha ha. funny.

railfancwb
Many years ago, driving to Crater Lake through increasing snow cover, saw a man cross country skiing on a frozen lake - in shorts. Bright sunshine, little or no breeze, cross country skiing is hard work, so he likely was quite comfortable at that moment.
