Today makes one year since my father passed. I can’t believe it has been a year already. I think about him all the time.

It never goes away.  My mother died over 60 years ago and it still seems like yesterday.

I'm truly sorry for your loss.  Not too long and it will be my son's turn......

The way I see it we are all like paratroopers in line jumping out of the plane. The line in front keeps getting shorter.  My time is getting sooner everyday, but most likely there are others jumping before me.  My mom is 78 now. She only has one step sister left, all other siblings and step siblings are gone.  Soon the connection to that generation will be gone.  Uncle Roy, mom's step sisters widower is 90.  He is the oldest one I am aware of in our family.  Great Aunt Lorraine passed in 2019 at 96 or 97. But soon enough it will be my turn.  Back in the mid 90s before she died Great Aunt Blanche said Life is so short.  Each day I believe her more and more.

Life would be so much easier, if not for the regrets at the end.

I thought of your father the other day, actually.

There is a YouTube series by a guy named Doug Demuro.  He does reviews/"walkthroughs" of exotic cars on Youtube.  I watched a few episodes and asked myself "I wonder how many of these Bill Powell has farted in?"
