t4terrific
Nothing looks better than a 6.5” blued Smith, for my taste.

Cougar_ml
Stole the pic from another site. Not the "most" beautiful firearm ever made, but My P7M8 is the most beautiful firearm I've ever used. The fit and function of it is amazing. Really hard to use anything else much after being spoiled by one of these. (Doesn't help that it was the first gun I ever owned)

PNWguy
My dad has some absolutely beautiful custom double rifles and Sharps rifles. I like this one because I used it to compete in a 1000yd match at Ben Avery in Phoenix a few years ago...
Brown Hawk
For sheer beauty, I think you have to go back to European hand made flintlocks. Fantastic wood, gold and silver inlay as well as scenes engraved on the metal parts, and hand carving that would emphasize the beauty and grain of the wood, all made for the royalty or nobility. For good looks and innovative design and impact, the Colt 1851 Navy revolver followed by the 1873 Peacemaker, the 1866 Henry/Winchester rifle, the “yellow boy.” The Luger would be next, then the Maxim machine gun and finally the Ma Deuce. But some examples..... 1911 in Damascus steel - wouldn't shoot it much it she sure is a looker: And of course the Colt 1860 Army:
norton
Not a firearm per se, but a lead slinger none the less. The Brits and the Germans build some impressive pre charged air guns, good for hunting small game, target shooting or just plinking. SC Tiger
A good double barrel is a thing of beauty: On 7/8/2018 at 10:06 AM, Hammer said: My vote for the 1911. My Les Baer. Somebody needs to tell Les Baer that he REALLY needs to cut down on the amount of engraving on the slide. I mean look at all that text! (Sarcasm - love that it only says ".45 ACP" on it. No BS.)

Borg warner
Smith and Wesson Model 27 3 1/2 inch barrel blued. Looking at this gun makes me want to throw stones at the currently made Smith and Wessons. And anyone who would put a set of Pachmayr grips on a gun like this needs to be taken out and shot. Borg warner
I think the original GI 1911A1 and it's commercial versions before all the "Enhancements" were added to it was one of the most beautiful guns ever made.
