When I was young, we had a leather shop in town.  They made saddles, tack, bull whips, and anything else they could sell.

I love sitting in there and chatting with the owner while he worked.  The smell was wonderful.

MY BIL and I worked on Muscle cars back then.  The most common repair in our area was replacing quarter panels, since the drivers would "power on" in a corner, then lose the rear end and slap it against any number of things.
