Surprised the front windshield ain't cracked.  From the conductor's head...Wonder how many passengers got messed up.

Lot of railroads tried streamlined steam on passenger trains to hold off diesels. Norfolk and Western’s J class 4-8-4 was probably the most successful. In fact the railroad later streamlined some of its K class 4-8-2s.

Southern streamlined one Pacific to use on its northern Virginia part of The Tennessean route.
