railfancwb
The Black Mesa & Lake Powell Railroad was a single purpose, isolated railroad whose sole purpose was to carry coal from a mine at Black Mesa to a steam power plant on the shore of Lake Powell. The power plant and thus the mine were shut down a year or so ago. The railroad was also shut down.
